Nestled in a stunning top-floor flat right on Brighton beach, this bathroom renovation was all about modernizing the space and making it work smarter for our client’s needs—without compromising on style. What began as a cramped and dated layout is now a sleek, contemporary sanctuary.
The Vision
Our client wanted to completely revamp the bathroom, which involved some significant changes to the existing layout. We started by removing a large, outdated cupboard that had been eating into the room's footprint for years. With that space freed up, we had the opportunity to do something much more exciting—a brand new walk-in shower.

Re imagining the Layout For this Complete Bathroom Renovation
To make it all work, we had to:
Relocate the bathroom door for better flow and access.
Move the basin to the opposite wall, allowing us to open up space and improve usability.
Re-route all plumbing supplies to accommodate the new positions of the shower and basin.
It was a total reconfiguration—and worth every bit of effort.

The Details That Make the Difference
The new shower area is a standout feature, complete with deep navy tiles laid in a bold herringbone pattern, highlighted by elegant brass fixtures and framed with a black crittall-style shower screen. It’s stylish, functional, and adds a boutique hotel feel to the room.
We paired this with a modern vanity unit, finished in a matte blue with brass handles and matching tap ware, which ties everything together beautifully. Underfoot, the patterned floor tiles add a playful yet sophisticated touch that complements the bold tile work and muted wall tones.

Finishing Touches
Internally, the space was fully plastered and decorated for a smooth, high-end finish. We didn’t stop there—externally, we also freshened up areas to maintain consistency and curb appeal throughout the property.
In the hallway, we created a handy coat storage area, discreetly designed with a hidden access panel to allow future maintenance of the concealed shower system—because good design is just as much about practicality as it is about aesthetics.
This Brighton bathroom now has the luxury, functionality, and wow-factor to match its incredible seaside location.
